Children and youth in the foster system often experience uncertainty and lack a sense of belonging, sometimes feeling like no one cares about them. Giving a bit of your time can help reinforce that they matter and are important.
Volunteers are an important part of the New Mexico Friends of Foster Children team. Volunteers can support foster children and help to strengthen their sense of community and help them thrive by:
🎂Wrap birthday gifts
🎂Make homemade birthday cards
🎂Sponsor a child’s birthday wish
🎂Organize a toy/book drive
🎂Donate toys, books, or gift cards
🎂Help with Outreach
🎂Have an idea, contact us
